Good Walk Terms of Use

By downloading or using Good Walk you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Good Walk does
Good Walk lets you set a daily walk target for your dog, log walks, time walks with an estimated distance, and see streaks, totals and milestones based on what you log. It is a tool to support your own choices. Distances and targets are estimates.
Not veterinary advice
Good Walk is not a veterinary service and does not provide veterinary or medical advice, diagnosis or treatment for animals or people. The daily walk target is a general guideline based on the size, breed type and age you enter. It does not know your dog. Ask your vet how much and what kind of exercise is right for your dog, especially for puppies, seniors, flat-faced breeds and dogs with health conditions, and in hot or cold weather. If your dog seems unwell, tired or in pain, stop and contact a vet.
Walk safely
You are responsible for your dog and yourself on every walk. Follow local leash laws, keep your dog under control, watch the road and the weather, not your phone, and don't let a streak talk you into a walk that isn't safe. Good Walk is not responsible for injury, loss or damage that happens while you are walking.
Subscriptions and purchases
- Good Walk offers auto-renewing subscriptions (yearly and monthly) and a one-time lifetime purchase, sold through Apple's App Store.
- A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown at purchase unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Your data
Everything you enter stays on your device; see the privacy policy. Because there is no account or server, we cannot recover your data if you delete the app or lose your device without a backup.
No warranty
Good Walk is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the app, including missed notifications, lost data or inaccurate estimates.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
